When Jayson Tatum ruptured his Achilles during the playoffs, millions watched him walk off the court. What they didn't see was what came next—the surgery, the pain, the long road back.
We worked with Jayson, his mom, and his physical therapist to tell the real story of his recovery and how JOURNAVX, a non-opioid pain medication, helped him manage pain so he could focus on getting back to the game he loves.
The biggest challenge—and our biggest win—was making this feel genuine. Not like an ad, but like Jayson's actual story. We built the narrative around candid conversations, letting the emotion come through naturally.

We had two short days to capture everything. To pull it off, we pre-lit every location and mapped out a tight production schedule across multiple sites. That level of prep let us be efficient on shoot days while still capturing authentic moments.
